Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the websites operated by Project ALICE Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States — project-alice.us and its ar, desktop, and corp subdomains.

Our products are still in development. When ALICE products or user accounts become available, we may provide additional product-specific privacy information at that time, which will supplement this policy.

2. Information you give us

We collect personal information only when you choose to send it through one of our forms.

• Waitlist form. Your email address, and optionally which product you're interested in.
• Contact form. Your name, email address, inquiry type, your message, and optionally your organization.

Both forms are handled by Netlify Forms, the form service built into our hosting provider. We don't ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any special categories of personal data anywhere on these sites.

3. Information collected automatically

Our sites are hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs of requests — including your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs exist to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse.

We do not use analytics services, advertising tags, or tracking pixels, and our sites do not set cookies of their own.

Our pages load typography from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files, Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. We don't receive any information back from Google about it.

4. How we use your information

• To reply to a message you sent us through the contact form.
• To send occasional development updates and early-access news to people who joined the waitlist.
• To operate, maintain, and secure our websites.

That's the whole list. We don't use your information to build advertising profiles, and we don't use it to train models.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run these sites — currently Netlify, for hosting and form handling — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service.

We may also disclose information where we're legally required to, or where it's necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the safety of others.

6. Where your information is processed

We are a United States company, and our hosting and form infrastructure runs on servers in the United States. If you are located elsewhere, submitting a form means your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from the law where you live.

7. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until you ask to be removed or until the waitlist is no longer in use. We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their own schedule.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information of yours we hold;
• correct information that's wrong;
• delete your information, including removing you from the waitlist.

Every update email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; tell us what you need and we'll do our best to honor it.

9. Security

Our sites are served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We limit access to submitted information to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we reduce risk by collecting as little as possible in the first place.

10. Children

These sites are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not take away any rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
